Sigler is fearless. She's appeared in front of just about every local judge, worked with just about every local prosecutor and probation officer, and handled just about every kind of case from pot charges to armed robbery. She's logged hundreds of hours in trials and thousands negotiating plea deals.
When she's not getting it done in the courthouse, she's running Phoenix Rising of Winston-Salem, Inc., a non-profit she founded in 2017 to battle addiction. When she's not doing that, she sits on the Drug Court Advisory Board, the committee that governs Forsyth County's Adult Drug Treatment Court, the creation of which she personally spearheaded. She teaches Wills & Estates at Forsyth Tech and has a strange tendency to appear in the newspaper.
Outside the world of law, Sigler has an adopted, autistic son; 3 dogs; and 2 cats. She's the owner of Rock It Man Toys & Wonders, which makes handmade rocking horses and other rocking creatures. She loves to read fiction as long as it has nothing whatsoever to do with the practice of law. She's a rabid NY Yankees fan; a Tar Heels basketball fan; a Pittsburgh Penguins hockey fan; and a Pittsburgh Steelers football fan.
In a past life, Sigler worked backstage in theatre and opera and traveled the world. She's been to England, Ireland, Scotland, Poland, Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Vienna. She's seen Auschwitz and Birkenau II in the driving snow of winter; watched the birds fly over the Charles Bridge in Prague; and eaten homemade ice cream on the square in Krakow.
Sigler practices law because she loves it. If she didn't practice law, she'd rescue dogs.
